Any Nepali-speaking resident aged 18 or older who can demonstrate their roots in Nepal, who shares an interest in Nepali culture and wants to contribute to the community is welcome to join Manchester Nepali Samaj. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and ages to be a part of our vibrant community.
The purpose of the community is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where children, youth, and adults can thrive—enjoying opportunities to learn, perform, and lead respectful, creative, happy, and healthy lives.
The Executive Committee consist of the following positions:
1. Chairperson 2. Vice-Chairperson (Two positions: one male and one female) 3. Secretary 4. Joint- Secretary 5. Treasurer 6. Nine additional members This structure ensures a diverse and balanced representation, fostering effective leadership and decision-making within the association. To serve as the Chairperson of the Executive Committee, one must be actively engaged and have served at least one year within the organization.
The committee is elected through a democratic process where members of the Manchester Nepali Samaj vote for candidates during our annual general meeting.
